護理學系學生畢業後需參加國家考試，取得護理師或護士執照方能進入職場執業，歷年來本系畢業生國考及格率皆在90%以上，工作內容包含：
 

• 擔任臨床護理師、護理長、督導、居家護理師等臨床護理職務。 (男生尤其適合於急診室、開刀房、復健科、精神科病房服務)
• 臨床及專科護理師、行政主管
• 大專院校任教或擔任軍訓護理教師
• 高中、職校護理教師、護專實習指導老師
• 社區衛生護理保健工作
• 經營護理之家、居家護理機構或坐月子中心。
• 擔任衛生行政人員、學校護理師、公共衛生護理師等公職人員。
• 從事職業衛生護理師、醫藥記者、醫藥書籍編輯、保險或醫療保健企業之行銷人員等相關行業。
• 繼續在國內外進修深造

Graduates of the Department of Nursing must pass the national licensure examination and obtain a nursing license before practicing professionally. Over the years, the licensure examination pass rate of our graduates has consistently exceeded 90%. Career opportunities include:

• Serving in clinical nursing positions, such as registered nurses, head nurses, nursing supervisors, and home healthcare nurses. Male nurses are particularly well suited to working in emergency departments, operating rooms, rehabilitation units, and psychiatric wards.
• Working as clinical nurse specialists, nurse practitioners, or healthcare administrators.
• Teaching at colleges and universities or serving as military nursing instructors.
• Teaching nursing at senior high schools or vocational high schools, or serving as clinical practicum instructors at junior colleges of nursing.
• Engaging in community health nursing and health promotion.
• Establishing or managing nursing homes, home healthcare agencies, or postpartum care centers.
• Working in public-sector positions, such as health administration officers, school nurses, and public health nurses.
• Pursuing careers as occupational health nurses, medical and healthcare journalists, medical publication editors, or marketing professionals in the insurance, pharmaceutical, and healthcare industries.
• Pursuing further education in Taiwan or abroad.

Further Education

In addition to pursuing advanced study in nursing, graduates may apply to a wide range of healthcare-related graduate programs, including nursing, medical sciences, information management, health education, healthcare administration, public health, health and welfare, and basic medical sciences.

Since its establishment more than 60 years ago, the Department has cultivated numerous graduates who have become leaders in society and in the nursing profession. Distinguished alumni include former legislator Ms. Chuang Ho-tzu, former Section Chief Chen Miao-ching of the Department of Nursing and Health Care under the former Department of Health, as well as many university professors, directors of hospital nursing departments, and hospital vice presidents. Our graduates continue to make valuable contributions to the nursing profession across a wide range of fields.
